The Dream Team
The Waterloo Regional Block Parent® Program is guided by a dedicated group of volunteers who make up the Board of Directors.
Tara has been with the Program since June 2009. As chair she works as a liaison between the Board of Directors and the Police, the Board of Education, School Principals, City Hall, and the OBPPI.
Megan as been the secretary since November 2010. Her duties include creating the newsletter and recording and issuing minutes of all board meetings.
Adrienne joined the board of Directors in January 2009. Adrienne is responsible for overseeing the bank account and all financial transactions as well as directing the Finance Committee.
Iain joined Block Parents in January 2009. Since then Iain has been researching new program information on Stranger Danger, Bullying and Safety Tips through WR Police Services. Iain also coordinates school visits to educate students on the program.
Minutes of Board Meetings are available to any interested party.
